When the Debug Console data is activated there often is not enough time to read messages before they scroll off the screen. Also, this display overlays floaters, making them hard to interact with (it is not unusual to need to interact with one which then outputs test debugging information to this console).
To correct this I propose:
1) Make the displayed lines wider
2) Eliminate the gaps between the messages
3) Reduce the empty vertical shading surrounding each message
4) Revert to the V1 behavior of having the debug text behind floaters.
