      Description

      Repro #1:

      1. Open the World menu > Sun > Environment Editor
      2. Set the time to around 6:30 PM then hit the right arrow to step time forward while observing the lighting around you.

      Observe:
As time progresses, the western light from the sun suddenly turns off, then pops back on, then quickly transitions to reddish morning light from the East, which then slowly transitions to bluish moon light. The same happens when transitioning from night to day.
      See attached "sun_moon_lighing_transitions.wmv"

      Expected:
A smooth transition between day and night.

      Repro #2:

      • Open the World menu > Sun > Environment Editor
      • Click Advanced Sky
      • Click Day Cycle Editor
      • Set Length of Cycle to 1 minute.
      • Click Preview: Play
      • Watch the lighting at sunrise and sunset.

      Observe:
You see the same incorrect lighting effects as in the attached movie, sun_moon_lighing_transitions.wmv . Eg, at sunrize you see white light from the East, then the world goes dark for a bit, then Orange light appears in the East. (Just like Tatooine. Is this an easter egg? Did I just win the game?)
