      Description

      As an experiment I turned on Incremental Linking:
      Start VS2010 and open a solution
      Right click on secondlife-bin
      Click Properties->Configuration Properties->Linker->General->Enable Incremental Linking

      On my fast computer my compile time is about 18 minutes, of which 1 minute is the linking step. I experimented with this setting enabled and when it worked my linking time was about 2 seconds.

      My workflow was to leave VS2010 running, make an edit in Notepad++, and then invoke Build in VS2010.

      For unknown reasons I did not always get a fast incremental link.

      I am wondering if making this setting default to on would be beneficial or would there be unwanted side-effects.
