Steps to Reproduce

Looking around in mouselook.

Actual Behavior

Windows 10, with 125% dpi setting in windows to make the screen readable.

Mouse start to drift away when you look around in mouselook and the stop moving the mouse.
The seems to happen especially for up down and right movement of the mouse in mouselook

Expected Behavior

The world keep drifting in the direction you moved the mouse after you stop moving the mouse the world keeps slowy drifting in that direction.

You need to keep steer constant in the opposite directon to keep walking normal. it feels sometimes like you get drunk. this bug is also good to make you car sick.

Other information

Done testing on other new system with clean upgraded windows 7 to windows 10. with only 125% dpi settings and no changes in the viewer. it still happens. after talking with the firestorm group. the problem seems to dissapear here when the windows font dpi is set back to 100% but then nothing is readable.

This problem appears in the SECONDLIFE viewer, firestorm and singularity. not tested others. My main viewer is secondlife because that have at least implemented a workaround for bug-219 LL never did fixt in there orginal viewer.

There also still old outstanding bugs Linden Lab seems to refuse about 125% dpi

This is an old old bug and it isn't Windows 10 specific, its been about since the Snowglobe days at least.
It's the same issue that was filed at BUG-1708 and BUG-4051.

Setting a non default DPI will cause it.
The only known workaround apart from setting DPI back to 100% is to change the debug setting DisableMouseWarp to TRUE.
Note that when DisableMouseWarp is TRUE, you will be limited to a 180 degree view in mouselook. There is no workaround for that.

There is one other thing you can try on Windows 10 Richardus. I don't think it will work, but worth a shot.
Leave your Windows DPI on 125%.
Right click the desktop shortcut for the viewer -> properties -> Compatibility tab.
Tick "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" -> Apply -> OK.
Launch the viewer from the shortcut.

Any luck?

The DisableMouseWarp seems to work. but it did sound betetr then it is, becausde then you cannot turn anymore in mouselook :O a bit hard if your inside a building.

The other trick by forcing the application back to 100% Seems to work.
In the viewer i need to use the UI scaling to make the font bigger.
The font option in firestorm seems to fail.

Side effect of changing the UI Scale is that mabye bug-219 comes back in firestorm.
Confirmed that i now have bug-219 back. but, that's mabye right now less problematic.

Other solution is still to go back too windows 7.
Anyway the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" gives me a few more days to think.
Looks like singularity have a bit less problesm or not with bug-219

It seems problems with dialogs too (bottom right notification icon (best place) seems the sometimes go out of me screen right side. mabye that's just hicup and gone after restart.

It's time LL is fixing the problems. screen resolutions only go up. means font's only get smaller.
