Steps to Reproduce

nothing else

Actual Behavior

I attempted to upload an image and the viewer flickered for a few seconds and then crashed

Expected Behavior

I expected the image to appear in my inventory

Other information

The crash occured with two different images (one a png file, one a jpg).

Heya Oz,

Was this maybe the known file picker crash on Mac?
This crash isn't fixed in any currently available LL viewer yet.

If it's the file picker crash, this workaround will stop it: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/mac_crash_upload
This workaround will work for the LL viewer too.

There has been a couple of fixes for this Mac file picker crash, https://bitbucket.org/lindenlab/viewer-release/commits/31e9d249db7678b62d64beb1134148c047b7b348 & https://bitbucket.org/lindenlab/viewer-release/commits/3a3d74dbf498926e175b0f082f3407a1d4ff6560 but they don't seem to work.

The Mac file picker crash is listed as fixed in the new MAINT-RC: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/3.7.31.302685
MAINT-3585 Viewer Crashes when attempting to upload image. (This is BUG-4398).

Can't test that myself...
Does the fix work?
