My request has to do with the "Unlink" button in the Build Tools floater.
When it is clicked on, a pop-up warning window should appear (accompanied by the typical sound alert), similar to the one that appears when one clicks on the "close" button of the viewer window. The text should be: "Are you sure you want to unlink the selected object(s)?". Underneath, the user will be able to choose to not see this message again ("Do not show me this again") if they don't want to see it again.
Although I'm sure most builders will want this warning, because it's very easy to inadvertently unlink a complex linkset, which can lead not only to more time being lost, but also to unlinked objects being returned due to issues caused by the land impact accounting system.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
When working on complex builds, especially when one is tired or under pressure (trying to finish something off in a short time), it's easy for them to accidentally click the "unlink" button. Then, besides the extra work they have to do in order to put the build back together, issues pertaining to land impact (due to the current accounting system) can appear, making things more complicated and time-consuming.
If the proposed warning is added, we will be able to know that, when unlinking a linkset, it will be because we actually want to unlink it. Yes, it'll take one more click, but those people who don't want to get this warning will have the option to not see it - as I've written in the previous section.
A confirmation / warning pop-up window when the "unlink" button is pressed would be more than welcome

Definitely need this as well as a popup for "Link" which can be just as destructive although probably less common.
I've accidentally clicked "Unlink" on an object with specific link order and clicking "Link" while still selecting the unlinked prims will not relink them in the same order as before.
How would you like the feature to work?
