kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-03T23:07:38Z Alexa - do I sent them for viewable for all users? |
Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-03T23:42:42Z If you are given the option, make them 'lindens only'. It is safest and we will quote relevant pieces if needed. |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-03T23:43:38Z they are huge files how am I going to cut and paste them in here???? and no that option is not available, can I email them? |
Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-03T23:43:38Z And if you get an eyeball on the chest again.... take a photo and attach it. I want to add it to my Failure Photobook. :-) |

Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-03T23:45:18Z Under 'More Actions' you should be able to attach files. If not, you can email me at monty@ or use a Dropbox and email me a link. |

Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-03T23:56:08Z Yep. Recommend using something to compress it (.zip, .rar). |

Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-04T00:49:44Z For those keeping score, Kiran is getting 1000's of KDU errors in SecondLife.log:
We'll follow up on this with the test in BUG-7694 to see if pipelining is aggravating something. |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T01:30:15Z, updated at 2014-11-04T01:30:55Z also pictures take a long time to rez out of my inventory sometimes over 20 minutes |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T15:37:19Z MONTY trying to do the test but I am in the middle of an ocean I am not sure this is the right place there is no scene to render and control shift 3 doesn't do anything |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T15:38:02Z am I in the right place I am at the bottom of an ocean http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/R3VOLT/128/128/1 |
Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-04T15:49:56Z Haha, I thought you meant in RL (somewhere in the Atlantic). My mistake, I thought you reported this from R3VOLT. I see it was actually Amardon East: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Amardon%20East/198/202/100 Try that. |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T15:50:58Z I am confused..where do you want me to do this???? there is nothing but ocean at r3volt |
Monty Linden commented at 2014-11-04T15:58:15Z Amardon East. Same place you originally reported the bug. |

kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T16:09:34Z changed to httppipe - false..dumped cache prior to logging in..this is picture 1 landing..same spot |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T16:10:46Z picture 4... still fetching httppipe on false.. I would say 2 minutes after landing rounda bout |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T16:11:47Z last picture..inventory fully fetched..about 5 mins from initial landing..by the way all those trees and grass are mesh.. |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T16:16:02Z still very slow with pipelining off. I always rezzed quick everywhere I landed. |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T16:56:06Z Have to say life is much better with httppipeling set to false |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-04T18:35:50Z Just an update..everything is working great with the http set to false. I can wear all my mesh, sims rez in a snap |

kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-08T23:25:17Z I don't know what the auto update on SL this morning did, but I am back to not being able to rez or see mesh again... |
Whirly Fizzle commented at 2014-11-09T01:31:51Z Kiran, which viewer did you get updated to? |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-18T12:20:13Z Hi Whirly! Sorry been working. Right now I am on Second Life 3.7.20 (296094) Oct 29 2014 14:05:13 (Second Life Release) things seem ok as long as I leave off pipelining |
Whirly Fizzle commented at 2014-11-20T06:49:06Z Heya Kiran, There is a new Http-RC viewer out which will hopefully help with your problem. How are things for you on this viewer when HttpPipelining is set to TRUE? |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-25T12:33:49Z I am setting my pipeling back on and will let you know today...then I will try the new release |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-25T12:34:31Z ok wait..i will get the release then turn it on... :) |
Whirly Fizzle commented at 2014-11-25T13:10:01Z Kiran, if you are still seeing problems with invisible mesh &/or corrupted textures or grey textures on the 3.7.21.296736 viewer with HttpPipelining is set to TRUE can you run a session (the longer the better) where you reproduce the problem and then after logging out, before relaunching the viewer, zip up your logs folder and attach it to this issue using More Actions -> Attach Files. Thanks! |
kiran.sporg commented at 2014-11-26T00:00:52Z It seems to be running much better. I have a show tonight so will let you know how that goes! much much better! |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Steps to Reproduce
I did not crash out or anything it all started friday
Actual Behavior
I have tried working through tech support and they could not find any problem. I had Boris and TJ and a friend of mine log onto my account and the same things were not happening to them. I have made sure my cable modem has been reset, my dns cache dumped, my upload and download on my modem is fine. I have logged on with my alt and the same thing is happening. My computer is running all other programs fine
Expected Behavior
no matter what sim I am on it happens
Other information
Some weird things have happen. Like textures loading odding when I go an rebake them for instance a skin was all misaligned showing a big eyeball on my chest. root prims showing still in my hand and all sparkles. Basically my mesh is all invisible and every thing else rezzes at a snails pace.
