Steps To Reproduce

Unpack box to inventory. The repro mesh in the box is named "SL11B Robot Avatar"
Login on http://automated-builds-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/hg/repo/simon-ll-viewer-lion/rev/295541/index.html
Change avatar into the default female character - Develop -> Avatar -> Character Tests -> Test female.
Remove all clothing and detach all attachments from avatar.
Relog.
Note the above 3 steps are not necessary to reproduce the problem but are done to make sure there are no shape deformites when starting the test.
Wear the "SL11B Robot Avatar" mesh
Login 2 observer avatars - Avatar A on the Lion viewer and Avatar B on default release Second Life 3.7.17 (294959) Oct 1 2014 10:55:30 (Second Life Release)
Observe that at this stage Avatar A and Avatar B and yourself all see your robot avatar looking the same way as in Fig 1 attached.
Detach the "SL11B Robot Avatar" mesh.
Observed Behaviour
After detaching the repro mesh, yourself and any observers on the Lion viewer will see your shape badly deformed - see Fig 2 attached.
Observers on default release viewer will see your avatar shape correctly - see Fig 3 attached.
