Steps to Reproduce

Uploading an anim animation file and playing the resulting animation in the viewer.

I've use info from the SL Viewer for this report. But, I see the same behavior in Firestorm and Alchemy.

Actual Behavior

When importing an animation with hand movements, the hand movements are lost, or at least not played.

When the exact same animation file (anim) is imported to the main grid it works fine.

Expected Behavior

I expected the hands to move in ADITI as they do AGNI. I spent considerable time trying to figure the problem out, thinking it was the animation or me.

Other information

I have a video showing the problem on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/NalatesU/videos
Actual video URL: http://youtu.be/36uJZXq0q2M

That is a link to my videos, there is only one video titled Error Report. It shows as needing 20+ minutes to finish uploading. (9:39AM PT 9/3)

I've provided environment info from ADITI and AGNI.

Heya Nal,

This can happen if an avatar is wearing certain scripted attachments that interfere with the hand poses.
The common cause of this is one of the many "Boot fixer" or ankle lock scripts.

Make sure that you are not wearing any scripted attachments at all on Aditi and see if this problem still reproduces.

Hi Nal, I also suspect that some scripted object is affecting your avatar's hand movement on one grid but not the other. Rigged meshes can also affect how animations appear, by moving your joints.

Can you reproduce this if you use the same exact avatar on both grids? You can get a 'default' looking avatar (with attachments replaced) by doing Develop -> Avatar -> Character Tests -> Test [Fe]male, which will replace your scripted..

Here's a run where I did a comparison of Agni (left) vs Aditi (right) of freshly-uploaded copies of your animation. It looks the same on both grids, to me:

Environment information is embedded in the video.

I went back to Morris and removed all attachments and tried the scripts that previously did not work. Whirly is correct. It is and attachment that is blocking my animation's hand movement. Without the attachment they work.

Thanks for looking at the problem.
