[BUG-6330] Listening & Speaking function of SL viewer are not working #14201

Steps to Reproduce

I am a student of Learn At Town and attending classes since long. I bought my new Laptop HP Envy and installed SL viewer and fixed my USP headphone to attend the class but sound was not functioning.

Actual Behavior

I am unable to listen and speak on my SL viewer since last five days. I checked setting in Preference and changed my PC & headphone and visited Voice Echo Canyon many time. I also installed Firestorm Viewer but unable to restore my sound problem. I need technical assistance for restoration of my sound.

Expected Behavior

Restore my Sound problem in SL Viewer.

Heya Imtiaz,

If voice was previously working on this new laptop but then just suddenly stopped 5 days ago, try logging directly into a different region.
A region can break in such a way that directly logging in there will cause voice never to connect that session but teleporting into that same region after logging in elsewhere will have working voice.

If your voice has been broken ever since you got the new laptop then the most likely cause is that your Firewall/antivirus software is blocking slvoice.exe. You will find slvoice.exe in the viewers install folder. Make sure this file is whitelisted in your security software and Firewall.
