Steps to Reproduce

This is very easy to reproduce and 100% of the time. I was able to reproduce this every single time on both my iMac and with my laptop which has Windows 8.1 on it.

1.) Teleport to any place in Second Life where you are very familiar with what the scene is supposed to look like when fully loaded.

2.) After arriving to the location and while the scene is actively loading in, change your active group tag to a different group.

3.) Wait a few minutes to give the scene a good chance to finish loading completely.

4.) Begin walking around or zooming the camera all around the scene to observe that there are dozens or hundreds of objects that never loaded visually.

Actual Behavior

Dozens or hundreds of objects will never load visually for the user even if waiting for an indefinite period of time. Right clicking on where the missing objects should be has no effect. Changing group tag again has no effect. Entering wireframe mode has no effect. The only way to see all the objects is to teleport out of the region and back in again or to relog.

Expected Behavior

That all objects in a scene would load completely even if changing active group tag to a different group while the scene was loading.

As a side note, there are other cases where many objects never load completely ever since project interesting was released, but i haven't pinned down an exact repro yet for them like this one.

Wow, good catch!
This is a 100% repro for me. You can literally see the scene loading just stop dead right infront of your eyes after group tag has been changed.

Even on a region with hardly any objects rezzed (eg Testylvania sandbox), this was easy to reproduce.

It is also pretty common for someone to change their active group just after a teleport too - they may need to change to the land group to rez/run scripts or change to a creators group when shopping to get a free group gift, etc etc.

Repro'd on:

I logged in at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Testylvania%20Sandbox/87/126/22 and quickly changed my active group tag.
A lot of objects on the region never loaded and none of the usual tricks got them to load (toggling shaders, entering/exiting wireframe, shift+selecting around missing objects etc): http://i.imgur.com/JOW4L0r.jpg
Object cache file for that region for that session was 291kb - attached as bad_objects_1299_1196.slc

Relogged to same location and did not change group tag.
All objects appeared to load fully: http://i.imgur.com/0odLbt8.jpg
Object cache file for that region for that session was 424kb - attached as good_objects_1299_1196.slc
