Steps To Reproduce.

  • This problem can be seen with any larger sized objects rezzed underwater and viewed from above the water however I left a demo object set up at this location that show the bug very easily: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Testylvania%20Sandbox/130/211/22

  • Graphics settings do not matter, ALM/shadows can be enabled or disabled. Just make sure you have Transparent Water enabled under Preferences -> Graphics -> Advanced.

  • Make sure Object-Object occlusion is enabled under Develop -> Rendering (enabled is the default setting).

  • Teleport to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Testylvania%20Sandbox/130/211/22 and examine the pool at different camera angles and zoom distances. Camera should be kept above water.

    Observed Behaviour

When object-object occlusion is enabled, at certain camera angles all or part of the prims under water will be invisible.

If you disable object-object occlusion, the prims underwater are always visible.

    Demo Video: http://www.screencast.com/t/B3S8iR7zs

    Expected Behaviour

Objects rezzed underwater should not be invisible when object-object occlusion is enabled.
