Essentially this would be some sort of system to allow users to script animations such that each animation has a certain "weight" to it.
could be limited to a maximum of two animations at a time
basically would directly interpolate between the transforms that each animation imposes on a skeleton
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
This would allow us to create things like AO's where we can say "OK, choose how feminine or masculine you want your walk to be" with a HUD slider, or "choose how much hip sway you want your animation to have". We could have two different animations for two different avatar sizes, and let the user adjust a slider to adjust the animation so that it fits their avatar alot better.
This would especially be good for layered animations where an upper-body and lower-body animation could be chosen separately for avatars that have long legs but short arms.
Essentially this would give us the freedom to create a better user experience in our animation content.
