I was observing Moonset on EEP, and noticed an inconsistency with the color of the moon texture and the backlighting and reflection. They should match as one sees in first life, but the moon remains a constant color. The lighting that is now being the moon is, I assume, to mimic the glow of the moon, but now looks like a light behind the moon. Likewise, the shimmer on the water is, I assume, intended to be the reflection of the moon itself.
What were you doing when it happened?
Observing moonset on mainland using default lighting settings.
What were you expecting to happen instead?
I was expecting the moon to act consistently with glow and reflections as one might see in first life. The current look is un-immersive and artificial.
