The new mesh uploader additions are an excellent and much needed improvement in the content creation work-flow, the new Avatar tab is great but I think the name is misleading. It is focussed on rigged mesh upload and applies to all mesh that is rigged but the name implies that this relates to avatars.
I would suggest that this tab be renamed to "Rigging" or some similar term.
Rigging is the industry-standard term for adding bone influence weights to a mesh "skin", there is no creator who has been able to create a viable rigged mesh that would not understand that term, whereas "Avatar" means many things beyond just the weighted mesh "skin".
What were you doing when it happened?
fixing up and testing the Firestorm merge.
What were you expecting to happen instead?
use industry standard, familiar terminology.
