When you right-click an attachment some of the useful options are "Touch", "Edit" and "Detach".
However when you right-click an attachment in (for instance) inventory only the 'Detach' option is available. BUG-228664 adds the 'Edit' option and this would add the 'Touch' option.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Most often when purchasing things in-world (or on the marketplace) they come boxed and you have to wear and click the item to receive your purchase / its contents.
The flow will be:
open inventory
right-click > Attach (or double click)
find the new attachment and click it (which always hides behind the inventory floater which then needs to moved, or worse the camera position needs to be changed)
move back to the inventory floater
right-click > Detach (although they often detach themselves)
And now actually wear / do something with the received items
With 'Touch' the flow is reduced to:
open inventory
right-click > Attach (or double click)
right-click > Touch
right-click > Detach (although they often detach themselves)
The user can stay focused on doing what they actually want, rather than chase an elusive box. The end :).
