What just happened?

No matter how many times I do 'Save' on this updated appearance it keeps saying 'Unsaved changes'. 'Save as' works but not 'Save'.

What were you doing when it happened?

Alpha av was wearing two clothes items. A sweater designed from undershirt and underpants. I added additional underpants for decency and changed sequence of the two underpants items to make the extra 'decency pants' appear UNDER the sweater.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I expected 'Save' to work the way it should.

Other information

I have met this faulty behavior in many instances on my main MinniF account. I have chosen 'Save as' and subsequent deletion of the problematic Appearance and renaming of 'the saved as' so many times.
On my main account the behavior has never been related to sequence changing of worn items, but now on my test account MinniG I found this simple way to make saving fail.

Hi MinniF,

Thank you for this latest report. You seem to have found another corner case in the avatar baking system that isn't working as expected.

Thanks!

Dear Lindens

I think I should add that a subsequent experience (probably related to my two earlier ones) was this:

After having created a number of classic avatars to wear the same few pieces of clothing (2 part sweater and lower part bikini) and in some instances an extra item from Library, like 'girl next door jeans', it happens whenever I select 'Edit my appearance' for any one of these avatars. In edit mode a more or less random mix of clothing items are displayed in wrong sequence (innermost as outermost) while editing. Leaving edit mode (after a while) brings back the proper picture.

I thought maybe the problems only occurred for underwear items, but then I went to 'Newcomer Shelter' to pick up the two huge big-packs of clothing items for alpha women. Giving one of my avs one of these many items can cause many other similar items (like jeans) to no longer offer the RMB options of wearing or adding from Inventory for the other avs even when these other items are not (worn). But mouse-dragging works.

Nearly always things come back to normal after logout/login. But only as long as I don't do another edit.

I am pretty sure all these problems have emerged since February 2020. In January/February I created my Mothers account and her av and most of her appearances for her. She is an Alpha (Pylle1). I am sure I would have noticed then. Now that she has become an active user, I can't go on manhandling her account (that is why I created the test account).

Hi MinniF,

This is technically a totally new bug report. In this case I'll create it for you, and set you as the reporter, but in the future for every distinct new bug please file a unique bug report. That will help us track each separately.

Thanks!
