Top selling items within a given time period - one month, one year etc,, and number of times a particular item has sold, within a given time period.
This instead of the 'since the beginning of time' top selling that we have now, which isn't all that useful. We want to know what sells now, and how often.
The attachment shows that by adding a filter in MP Merchant Order History the seller could analyse a particular item over a period of time, and get customer names if you need to contact them. this would be a good step forward with this feature.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
It would make it easy to see what people are buying, so that we can plan our creations to meet demand. Also what people are not buying, so that we can decide if marketing is required for the item or is it just not popular, or so old and obsolete it needs to be unlisted since nobody has bought it for years. If I create a new item I'd like to know how well it is doing without going to top selling, and searching for that item.

I've added an image, 'Top Selling with Search Function'. This would be a way to quickly see how often a particular item has sold (or not sold). The MP Order History with a filter added (see image attachment) would show when the item has sold and to whom, and by counting we could see how often, but this would be easier in top selling with a search function).
