[BUG-227191] When ALM is enabled, Depth mode shots are broken when snapshot size is set to anything above current window size #5561
Labels
Steps to Reproduce
Login on Second Life Release 6.2.2.527338
Preferences -> Graphics -> Enable "Advanced Lighting Model".
Open snapshot floater -> Choose Save To Disk.
Set snapshot size to Current Window.
Change Capture Mode to Depth.
Refresh snapshot.
Observe preview correctly shows the Depth capture
See Fig 1 attached.
Change snapshot size to custom and set any size above current window size
Refresh the snapshot.
Observed Behaviour
Snapshot preview (& the saved shot) is just a white screen.
See Fig 2 attached.
Bug only reproduces when Advanced Lighting Model is enabled.
Expected behaviour
Current default release Second Life 4.1.1.320331 (Second Life Release) gives expected behaviour & the depth mode shot correctly previews and saves when taking shots larger then current window size with ALM enabled.
Other Information
Issue was originally filed against 360 Snapshot viewer but is now, somehow, in release too.
This issue is a duplicate of MAINT-6445.
MAINT-6445 was originally a subtask of STORM-2118 but it was moved to MAINT instead of cloned, so I wanted to file this one in BUG so it was public.
