When an object gives you an item, such as a vendor, or any object giver, you are presented with a pop-up windows with an Accept or Discard button. If you hit the Discard button, the item should automatically go to your Trash folder, as it does when an avatar sends you an item and you hit the Discard button.
What were you doing when it happened?
I was purchasing a no-copy item from a vendor, and accidentally hit the Discard button when trying to address other notifcations which were popping up.
What were you expecting to happen instead?
I expected the item to enter the Trash folder upon accidentally hitting the Discard button, so I could recover it.
Other information
Due to the fact that most creators will not issue refunds or replace no-copy items, hittin the Discard button when an object sends you an item should send that item to your Trash folder, as it does when you do the same thing if an avatar sends you an item.

i agree Discarding inventory on vendors/objects should behave the same as it does if an avatar sends you and item and you Discard it, it should move to Trash
