What just happened?

Each time I log off SL (including the 3rd party viewers), I get a bad display on my computer screen. This does not happen with any games I play or anything else. I have done benchmark tests on my computer and everything is fine. I also recently bought this computer at Best Buy.

What were you doing when it happened?

When I log off SecondLife, it is impossible to see much (attachment of my screen done by my Android). Again, I have done benchmark tests, and nothing is wrong with my computer. https://www.3dmark.com/pcm10/36690906

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I was expecting the screen to look normal.

Hiya MasterJedi,

This is a known problem with the latest Windows 10 update on systems with Nvidia graphics - see BUG-226803 for details.
There is a fix for this bug in the Rainbow-RC viewer, which you can download here: https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/viewer/6.2.3.527758.html

You don't say which other third party viewers that you are seeing this problem on, but I know Firestorm already has the fix in the release viewer. Pretty sure Alchemy also has the fix.
I expect other TPVs will pick up the fix from LL soon.
If you are using a viewer without the fix, you can work around the problem by using Ctrl + Shift + Windows + B to reset the graphics after logging out.
Hope that helps :)

I just noticed MasterJedi has AMD graphics!
This is actually the first case I've seen where this bug affects an AMD system.
MasterJedi, is going to try the Rainbow-RC to see if it fixes the bug.
He confirmed that CTRL + Shift + Windows B does fix the problem after logging out on the EEP viewer he's currently using.

MasterJedi, did the Rainbow-RC viewer fix the bug for you?

TO: Dan Linden

Are you asking me for more information?  If so, what more can I give?  I thought I gave all the relevant information.

[~masterjedi.nayar] Please try the 64-bit Windows viewer on https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/viewer/6.2.3.527758.html and let us know if that fixes the issue.

Yes, this viewer is doing good with this issue.  When will the other third party viewers have this fix? It is not that I dislike the main viewer, but each viewer has its unique abilities.

I can't speak for other TPVs, but Firestorm release already has this fix.
You'll have to ask the other TPV devs to implement the fix.
