What just happened?

First of all, thank you for your help, it was very useful for the resolution of my problems.

I publish my comment, because there is another problem. I can not reset the graphics settings anymore, it blocks and I can not do anything anymore. Besides, I do not understand why my parameters have been changed it's not me who did it.

What were you doing when it happened?

Nothing. there were suddenly bugs that lasted last weekend. Today it works pretty much, but my avatar does not work.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

It worked very well until now

Other information

no i have summarized in gro my problems, nothing to add

Hiya GreenMan,

To fix your avatar being an oval of light:
Quick fix that works for most cases: Open your inventory and expand the "My Outfits" folder.
Choose any saved outfit folder and drag it onto your avatar and your avatar should then rez.

If this doesn't help, try logging into a different region and changing your outfit and see if your avatar will rez.
If your problem turns out to be limited to one specific region, then this region may need to be restarted.

If testing on a different region does not help the please can you try the following:
In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Choose an Avatar -> New Avatars -> Choose one of those avatars and use "Select".
Your avatar should hopefully rez correctly once you have done this and you can then get dressed normally.

If this doesn't help, create a new folder in your inventory and inside this folder, place a skin, a shape, a hairbase and some eyes (non-prim).
Then Right click this folder and REPLACE outfit. You must replace, not wear or add to or it wont work.
If your avatar then rezzes, you can get dressed normally.

If you are still having problems then please follow the steps on this wiki page: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Troubleshooting-avatar-appearance/ta-p/1256955

To fix the splotchy look on your avatar body:
It appears from your images & system information that you have "Hardware skinning" disabled. When Hardware skinning is disabled, rigged mesh bodies like the niramyth will look very blotchy.
Your system information shows that you are set to the lowest graphics quality setting & quite possibly even have Basic Shaders disabled.
To fix this, in the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Preferences -> Graphics
Slide the "Quality & Speed" slider to between low and mid (or higher) - this should enable Basic Shaders and Hardware Skinning.
If you click the "Advanced Settings" button in the Graphics preferences, you can check both the "Basic Shaders" and "Hardware Skinning" settings.
Basic Shaders must be enabled to allow you to tick Hardware Skinning.

If you are still having problems rezzing your avatar, then you should contact Linden lab support directly from: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/

Hope that helps :)
