I'm not sure if this is a bug or a request, the existing behavior is odd, perhaps even exactly backwards, but it's been there so long...
Right now we have 1 check box in about land "Restrict gesture and object sounds to this parcel", this prevents sounds created by objects/gestures on that specific parcel escaping, nothing more.
I would like this to be updated/second-checkbox added to prevent sounds created outside the current parcel from entering.
It feels it would make most sense if this worked the same way avatars & voice can be filtered. Ticking the box prevents both ways.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Use case :
I don't want to hear my neighbors windchime, parked helicopter, floating
wood chipper, prim baby, gremlin disco party (no really that's a thing).
I've tried asking ... I never see them ... We don't get on ... I'm shy ... I feel like I'm intruding ... We don't speak the same language ...
Rather than :
I'm feeling neighborly and understand that my 24 hour HOOOOOOOOO dance party that can be heard 3 regions away might be annoying, I will thoughtfully tick the box and stop the sound escaping.
