What just happened?

Logged in with Draw Distance at 64m and visited Tempura Island.
Wandered around, found a spot to sit.
Camera restraints disabled.

What were you doing when it happened?

Zooming camera in and out and around noticed surroundings did not derender

What were you expecting to happen instead?

Not to render so much content outside my Draw Distance.

I can reproduce this on EEP viewers only.

  • Bug does not reproduce on LL default release: Second Life Release 6.1.1.525446 (64bit)
    Gif shows switching draw distance between 300m & 32m.
    As soon as draw distance is lowered to 32m, all distant objects poof instantly.

  • On EEP nightly: Second Life Test 6.2.0.526156 (64bit)
    Changing draw distance from 300m to 32m does... nothing...
    A couple of small objects go poof & some objects start to flash when DD is 32m but that's all.
