The fix for BUG-225655 is listed as a resolved issue in the EEP-RC release notes: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/6.2.0.525395 SL-10081 Viewer freezes while "Loading world..." - Intel HD 620 / Intel HD 630, Windows 10.
However it is not fixed on either that EEP-RC build or on the latest EEP nightly (in system information).
Steps To Reproduce
Same as for BUG-225655
Login on unaffected system (in my case just switch my Optimus laptop to use the Nvidia card).
Replace outfit with default male (Develop -> Avatar -> Character Tests -> Test male)
Add a full alpha layer to your avatar. It does not matter if the alpha layer is created using the tick boxes for each texture or whether you use the default transparent texture instead - https://prnt.sc/litylk
Optionally, remove all attachments. This is just to show that worn attachment have no effect on this bug.
Log out.
Login same avatar using an affected system - I'm using my Laptop with Intel HD 630 graphics with graphics driver version 25.20.100.6471.
Note that you will have no problem logging in, because you are wearing the alpha layer! (WTF WTF).
It was noted by several affected users that they either only had the problem on one account or that they were ok while wearing their mesh avatar but the bug reproduced when wearing their system avatar - basically the alpha layer being worn with a mesh avatar was saving them from freezing.
Now take off the worn alpha layer.
As soon as the avatar rebakes after removing the alpha layer, the viewer will freeze solid & never recover.
You will need to force quit the viewer in task manager.
Now relog & observe that the login progress bar moves along as expected until it gets to "Loading world...".
The avatar will be fully logged in - you can hear the sounds in world & observers can see your avatar, however the login screen will remain frozen at Loading World & never progress. https://prnt.sc/litgmn
You will again need to force quit the viewer in task manager.
Whirly_1.log
Logged in Kippy Adored wearing default female outfit (which doesn't reproduce the bug).
Replaced outfit with default male: Deveop -> Avatars -> Character Tests -> Test male.
Viewer immediately froze & went "not responding".
Force quit viewer.
Whirly_2.log
Relogged while wearing default male avatar from last session.
Viewer froze at "Loading world...".
Force quit viewer after leaving frozen for a few mins.
