What just happened?

  1. Create a number of settings objects in inventory

  2. Sign out

  3. Sign back in and attempt to edit one of the settings you created.

  4. Observe you get a message popup: "Unable to edit this"

Alternate symptoms are an inability to apply the setting to region, parcel or self.
Reproduction may require travel to a non EEP region (but I've not confirmed this.)

The issue is caused by the asset ID for the settings objects not being written to the inventory cache when the viewer exits.

To work around clear your inventory cache and sign in to an EEP region.

What were you doing when it happened?

Trying to edit a day cycle.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

Asset ID is not lost from inventory cache.
