Steps:

  1. Login into viewer goes to secondlife://Aditi/secondlife/EEPTesting/205/184/23 .
  2. Go to parcel you own.
  3. Open About Land > Environment tab (so that the Apply To Parcel button will be available for step 6-7)
  4. Open "World menu > Environment > My Environments" floater.
  5. Open edit for "New Day Cycle" and make some change.
  6. Change the "Save" button to "Apply To Parcel" by clicking the triangle thing.
  7. Click "Apply To Parcel" button.

Actual result: "New Day Cycle" settings don't apply to the parcel after clicking "Apply to my parcel" button. The About Land > Environment > Current Environment did not change.

Expected result: "New Day Cycle" settings should be applied to my parcel - maybe.

The workflow is confusing because applying Day Cycle edits to the parcel from the Day Cycle window is different depending on how the Day Cycle window was opened.

If the Day Cycle window was opened from "About Land > Environment > Edit Environment" then applying changes to parcel is click "Commit" button, then clicking "Apply" button in the About Land window.

Note: This issue reproduces at regions which already have some kind of custom environment.

This behavior was found during IQA-5818 according to test plan: "EEP Viewer test" in case "Apply To Parcel"

Needs more info.
When you click Apply To Parcel, was it grayed out as in Whirly's screenshot?

Note that Applying to parcel may take 2 steps: 1) clicking the triangle on the button to select the "Apply To Parcel" function from the list, then 2) Click the "Apply To Parcel" button.

Hi Dan.
When I click “ apply to my parcel” the expected result should be like on screen "Expected result.png", but if I open "Environment" tab on my parcel the expected result is not changed. please look at "Actual result".

Note: "Apply" button isn't active in the "Environment" tab.
