Steps to Reproduce

  • Rez a box, edit box -> Contents tab.

  • Drag an inventory folder containing a no copy item or several no copy items into the box contents by dropping the folder into the contents tab.

    Observed Behaviour

  • The no copy item/s appear in the objects contents, but the no copy items still remain visible in inventory.

  • The ghost no copy items in inventory cannot be rezzed (if an object), previewed/opened (if a texture/script) or deleted.

  • Bug does not reproduce on every attempt but reproduces frequently enough that you shouldn't have much trouble in reproducing it.

  • After relogging, the ghosted no copy items in inventory are gone.

    Expected Behaviour

The no copy items should disappear from inventory view once they have been added to the objects contents.
