Information
Currently by script, we can get an agent's group key, the group's name, member count, enrollment type, membership fee, founder UUID, founder name, group insignia UUID and content rating. This goes for both public and private groups.
We also need a scripted means to get an agent's displayed group tag text as well.
This feature request is for a constant, OBJECT_GROUP_TAG to be added to the function, llGetObjectDetails().
Benefits
The following benefits can be had with this constant along with the function, llSameGroup(), resolving the need for setting up and/or maintaining extensive databases:
Sellers can use their affiliated product group roles to change the percentage in savings offered to different roles or VIPs through their vendors.
Gacha creators can give machine owners the option of publicly/privately offering better chances for prizes to different roles or VIPs.
Game operators can set up gear/weapons/HUDs to use different levels of abilities based on role/title.
Access to special areas/rooms/rewards based off role/title.
Moderators can check for non-PG/intolerant/explicit group tag text in General rated regions.
Since group owners/admin can change group role text at any time, the possibilities are nearly endless.
A llGetObjectDetails() constant is preferred instead of a function since there are already agent-only data return constants such as OBJECT_RENDER_WEIGHT, OBJECT_HOVER_HEIGHT & OBJECT_BODY_SHAPE_TYPE.
