Krystal Silverweb commented at 2016-06-14T13:11:16Z, updated at 2016-06-14T13:14:43Z It happens whether or not I have Advanced Lighting Model checked. Different than the BUG 7947 above that you posted(which yes happens to me too). |
Krystal Silverweb commented at 2016-06-14T13:22:45Z Just found something else out, if I turn off "Basic Shaders" in the Advanced Graphics Preferences, the model will show up distorted whether or not I'm in edit mode. Also if I turn off "Avatar Hardware Skinning" it's distorted..so it seems to be related to that option. |
Dan Linden commented at 2016-06-14T22:53:41Z Hi Krystal. If I'm reading the coordinates right, this was tested 4000m above ground level. Does this bug reproduce at ground level? |
Krystal Silverweb commented at 2016-06-14T22:58:30Z Yes, it happens no matter where I'm at, different sims, different heights.. |

Steps to Reproduce
On Agni, right click on rigged mesh(with weighted bento bones) that is attached to avatar, choose edit.
Actual Behavior
Testing my mesh rigged mesh(with Bento bone weights) on Agni, when I click to edit mesh the wireframe looks all weird where the vertices are weighted to the new bones, like in the picture attached.
Expected Behavior
The wireframe should show exactly how it is when you're not in edit mode. Also, wireframe mode shows correctly.
Other information
I did not notice it happen Aditi. Only on Agni. I uploaded the exact same mesh to Agni, with include skin weights checked(all lod's were left alone in the uploader dialog)--although this happens whether or not you change the LOD's.
It has happened to every mesh I uploaded to Agni that has extended(bento) bone weights.
The wireframe only shows like that when it's attached to the avatar. If I just rezz the mesh to the ground it looks fine.
I have attached the standard SL avatar head mesh, rigged to the new bones. The screenshot is from my own head mesh so it's a different .dae, however it happens with both.
