• In https://bitbucket.org/lindenlab/viewer-release/commits/482d20e34b73faf68669e33391b58b0b0ee34123, the default Maximum Complexity values for each graphics quality setting were changed to the following

  • Low: 35k
  • Low-Mid: 100k
  • Mid: 200k
  • Mid-High: 250k
  • High: 300k
  • High-Ultra: 350k
  • (Ultra: 350k)

• There is a mistake in this commit which causes Low-Mid -> Ultra to all be set at 80k for Maximum Complexity, because the "all" section is set to 80k.

• The 'all' section must be set to the value for high end machines as the minimum of high-end and recommended setting will be applied, as stated here: https://bitbucket.org/lindenlab/viewer-release/src/482d20e34b73faf68669e33391b58b0b0ee34123/indra/newview/featuretable.txt?fileviewer=file-view-default#featuretable.txt-26

  Steps to Reproduce

• Login on Second Life 4.0.5.315117 (Second Life Release) with clean settings.

• Go to Preferences -> Graphics.

• Check the Maximum Complexity settings for each graphics quality level.

  Observed Behaviour

  The Maximum Complexity settings are as follows:

• Low: 35k

• All graphics quality settings above Low: 80k

  Expected behaviour

  The maximum Complexity settings should be:

• Low: 35k

• Low-Mid: 100k

• Mid: 200k

• Mid-High: 250k

• High: 300k

• High-Ultra: 350k

• (Ultra: 350k)
