Currently, when you send a snapshot to Twitter from within SL, it reduces the character count from 140 to 100. While Twitter used to take away from character count when you tweeted a photo, they stopped doing that a year or so ago. So now you can send a 140-character tweet regardless of whether you are including a photo or not.
When sending a snapshot to Twitter from SL, it should not reduce the character count.
It's also worth noting that Twitter is currently working to up the character limit from 140 characters to 280, although this feature is currently in beta and has not gone live, yet. When it does go live, the character limit from SL should likewise be increased.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
It is frustrating being restricted to only 100 characters, especially when it's no longer neccessary.
