Steps to Reproduce

Viewing mesh hair.

Actual Behavior

Mesh hair renders incorrectly on Mac. See the provided snapshot. This occurs when all shaders are disabled as well as all shaders enabled.

Expected Behavior

I was expecting the mesh to render properly without appearing to break in several places.

Other information

This seems to be specific to Macs with ATI graphics cards.

A couple of weeks (1-2) ago same bug came crawling to me.
Though it seems to show also on other objects (i.e. EDIT: http://roquai7.blogspot.de/2016/04/bug-11674.html) than that hair showing on ss 2016-03-31 (other hair looks fine). Drivers & graphic preferences are ok.

Is not just related to ATI graphics, nor macs. Since I've updated to last version of the SL Viewer and the transparency bug has come back for me too.

My OS version and graphic card:
OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1024 MB

Can you give a Marketplace link (or creator name, item name & SLURL) for an object that reproduces it on the latest viewer but didn't reproduce it on earlier viewer versions?

The only way I can think of to make that hair mess up on my system is to wear a large sized system hair textured with an alpha texture.
Then we get this lovely mess: http://prntscr.com/amt8v0
That is an ancient bug though & no baldy hairbase should ever be this big, I deliberately made this to break that hair - it will break any hair it's worn under if the hair contains alpha in the texture.

So if you are seeing this hair broken on a Windows box, check to see if changing hairbase fixes it.
