Steps to Reproduce

Logging in to Second Life and got the new update on the operating system.

Actual Behavior

During the download of the latest version of the Second Life operating system, the crashlog.ddl file as well as three other .ddl files proximal to the crashlog file unpacking did not unpack and load properly. This had been a chronic issue during series of the updates and has never been resolved.

Expected Behavior

To have all the files unpack and install correctly.

Other information

Its a continuing issue through several updates. My laptop operating system is Windows 7.

This happens to me pretty regularly too, especially on the Http-RC branch which just went into default release.
It happens most often when the viewer auto-updates - the win_crash_logger.exe process does not shut down before the viewer updates & the install will fail.

I guess this is all covered in issue BUG-7873, which was imported.

Hello Aurielle,

As Whirly observed this does unfortunately happen and we are working on a solution to BUG-7873.

What is different about your report is that three addition files are not installing. Please let me know what files are not installing besides win_crash_logger.exe

Edited to add: Are the .dll files the same as those pictured in BUG-11013?
