This happens to me too and it's been happening for a while. Just to clarify, it happens on standard MP search.
I have no idea what causes it but it's intermittant (I can't currently reproduce it). When it does reproduce, if I switch to a different web browser, it stops reproducing.
I've only had this problem when using Firefox, never had it happen on IE or Chrome.
I actually thought it was just me, so slightly happy to see someone else has this problem too.
When Firefox reproduces this, if I disable all my Firefox add-ons, it stops reproducing, so in my case I believe the problem is a browser add-on.
