Steps to Reproduce

Checking my group notices

Actual Behavior

I tried to open a notecard from a group notice

Expected Behavior

The release notes for version 3.8.6.305981 says that old bug has finally been fixed so I expected to actually be able to open the notecard. Unfortunately it turns out the bug fix failed, it is still not possible to open links to notecards, landmarks or other items attached to group notices.

Other information

I have to say that although the notice update failed to kill that old bug, it is still a huge improvement! Well done, guys! _

Heya RenateIsabella,

The fix you saw in the release notes, "MAINT-5380 [Project Notice] Links are not clickable in group notices" was actually for a different bug not to do with group notice attachments.
It was to fix BUG-9637.

The bug with group notice attachments often failing to open or go into inventory is SVC-7129.
SVC-7129 is not yet fixed.

However there is some good news there.
There is a serverside fix for this bug which should (as far as I'm aware) be going to the RC regions this Wednesday coming.
