[BUG-100664] Unable to remove entries from 'Interests' #199

Steps to Reproduce

Trying to remove them.

Actual Behavior

A while back I added 3 interests that had a '/' symbol in them. Now I am unable to remove them.

(Sept 9 2017 update: since comments are disabled )
Specifically: Upon removal via clicking the [x] next to the interest, it seems to go away. Yet still remains on the profile page after having been 'removed.' – polysail

Expected Behavior

Them to be removed.

Hmm a Linden comment on issue BUG-4749 says this bug is fixed, but I'm not sure if interests containing the / character that were added before the fix need to be manually removed.
I think LL support have a way to fix this but I'm not 100% sure.
A Linden will tell you here if you need to contact support to get the interests removed or not.

They sent me here. :D So I dunno. I tried removing them myself a few ways and got no where.

What should users having this problem do?
Can support remove the stuck interests or should each affected account file a JIRA issue to get them removed?

Kyle answered my question.
Support cannot fix the stuck interests.
Affected users will need to wait until there is a fix pushed to web profiles for this bug.
There is no point getting affected account to file a JIRA issue to get this fixed because manually removing the stuck interests is not easy to do & has a high chance of breaking the profile.

Support is still unable to clear out stuck interests. We have an open ticket to address this issue in the future.
