This is rather annoying. I like being able to check my friends list via the web without having to log in and get into 3 IM conversations.

I'm guessing this issue is linked to the in-world friends list problems.
But it still needs fixing and needs a JIRA + vote system attached.
This kind of very visible issue should also be mentioned in the website blog. HINT HINT.

I feel this is much more than "annoying", and is actually a major productivity hit for many trying to run businesses within SL. I also agree it would be VERY nice if LL had made SOME comment in the blog about this! Is "temporarily disabled" a day (no, already been longer), a week, a month or indefinitely?? This to me is major in terms of a productivity hit.
