Occasionally, the official registration portal lists names in its drop down that are from an old batch, namely the 2008-05-16 and 2008-08-08 batches. These names were (mostly) retired in late Nov 2008, but they occasionally pop back into the available name pool. Is there a configuration problem? A couple days ago, I added a feature to SLNameWatch.com to try to track this phenomenon. I found that there are at least 187 names exhibiting this behavior. I will list them below. I have not tested what happens when you try to create a character with one of these incompletely-retired names. (No more alts for me, for a while.) For all I know, the registration will be rejected.
