If one attempts to create a Teen Grid account using PayPal verification (mandatory outside the US and Canada - despite offering the choice for no real reason), the account cannot be created. This has been reproduced on several occasions by multiple people.
The creation will appear to be successful most of the way through, until you reach the stage at which you are redirected to https://join.secondlife.com:40443/cap/
... . At this point, the page will consistently hang indefinitely until the browser times out.
This may occur using text message validation, and may occur on the main grid with no validation. I, and nobody I am in contact with, is in a position to test this. However, I find it highly unlikely that Linden Lab would block registration for several weeks without noticing. On the other hand, Teen SL registrations have been inadvertently (or otherwise) broken several times, so this seems fairly likely.
Since you like reproductions, here's a rather verbose one:
1) Click "Join" in the corner of the homepage
2) Click "Skip this step"
3) Fill in the form, preferably truthfully
4) Enter a date of birth that makes you younger than eighteen.
5) Pick PayPal as the verification option. If outside the US/Canada, pick "Mobile Phone" for added "Why is the option there?" amusement.
6) "Create Account"
7) Create the payment agreement through PayPal using your verified account
8) Click the button to return to Linden Lab
9) Sit and wait forever for the next page to load until your browser times out.
Expected behaviour: The process continues to the next step, email verification (no verification email is ever sent, incidentally).
This, once again, disables TSL growth outside the US. PayPal verification is difficult enough when it's not disabled (which it was for some months) or broken (which it has been for several weeks).
