This should be fixed now. Let me know if you're still having a problem with it.
I've tested the Wiki Email and it's all working fine, images are attached. : )
Works for me. I have a Gmail address.
It is only connected to certain domains. So for example @gmx.de refuses to work while @web.de works. Same seems to be with this dutch provider. It is reproducable with different accounts and not a problem with a spam filter (at least the mail doesn't appear in the spam folder).
GMX dont work. I try to add the same email adress as my secondlife account have, but never got a email from wiki. According to wiki, the email was sent.
I remember when the tracker was first set up that the email failed to be accepted by my email server, lowering postfix's security fixed it and allowed the emails to be accepted. It was rejecting anything from the cascadeo host, which I notice the wiki is also sending mail from. Perhaps it is a similar problem.
I can't remember the details though and the logs don't go back that far. I shall try and find out if someone wants though. I tried upping the UCE policy checks and then it started blocking mail from cascadeo.
Sep 23 11:29:56 www postfix/smtpd[5038]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from smtp.cascadeo.com[209.221.173.215]: 450 4.1.8 <www-data@lindenlab9.corp.cascadeo>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found; from=<www-data@lindenlab9.corp.cascadeo> to=<blahblah> proto=ESMTP helo=<smtp.cascadeo.com> It seems that because the from address, "www-data@lindenlab9.corp.cascadeo," can't be resolved it's rejecting it. Something like that, I imagine.
I fixed the problem on my server by turning off the checks and just letting spamassassin & co. handle everything. FWIW, there was a little more work done on this one, iirc. Cascadeo fixed it so that the From line contains a valid email address. That should get more mail unstuck from spam folders.
oh, it looks like that resolved the issue. I just tested it with a @gmx.de account and it turned out fine. So yes, it was www-data@lindenlab9.corp.cascadeo in late September still and is now no-reply@lindenlab.cascadeo.com which is accepted. The former didn't even make it till my spambox but was filtered by the provider at an earlier level already.
thx for changing! marked it as fixed. Works on my server with the security turned up too, looks like that was the issue.
