Description
|
Does it occur to any Lindens yet that 50% of the non-English native speaking Second Life Residents (~1.5 million users) either do not have knowledge of the TOS, and/or have never read the "Community Standards" in their own language because they are simply not available AT ALL.
Is it too hard and too expensive to get a translation company to do this in a week time, or does Linden Lab simply doesn't care and doesn't mind not having them available while getting German and French lawsuits upon itself. As a Linden Lab lawyer I'd be so ashamed, I'd quit my job... seriously...
Could you please translate and provide the official "Community Standards" in German, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch and Italian by now? and therefore help everybody to comply to "Community Standards" and enforce the Terms of Services properly.
NOTE: I deliberately classified this as a Bug vs. a New Features because this should have been done yesterday and clearly is shameful, unacceptable and irresponsible from a company who pretends having a clear policy in place.

Could the Internationalization Team please have the official "Community Standards" translated in German, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch and Italian and make it available in-world? therefore helping everybody to comply to "Community Standards" and/or enforce rules of behavior associated to using Second Life.
As an owner/administrator of three sandboxes, I need to be able to communicate or remind the rules to anyone who does not speak English. I am yet unable to do that because there is no such official translation available.
It would make it easier on everybody (reduce the amount of unindented abuse and abuse reports to the mutual benefit of Community Affairs and Governance) if translations of the "Big Six" were provided to new non-English native speaking residents at the first place on orientation islands or during the new account creation process.
