The instructions in the email sent out asking people to update their contact detail are incorrect and confusing, as the page they direct people to provides no means of carrying out the request.
Until WEB-453 is addressed to provide the ability to self-update contact info, the wording of the email should be changed to direct people to file a support ticket to have this done manually, or to Age Verify as a work-around.
Relevant section of the email, the directions in red are impossible to carry out:
We have temporarily placed your account on hold pending an
update of your account information.
Please can you update your account details via the Second
Life website http://www.secondlife.com/account/
clicking
the link to Contact Info and provide your real life First
and Last name.
Your account then will be reactivated and you can log back
into Second Life.
