Here's an example of the camera problem in action, utilizing a screen grab to show the settings I was using.
Here's a screen grab showing the settings I was using when the problem occurred.
When you take a pic, try checking the box Constrain Proportions. This will normally get rid of the lines. This problem only seems to happen when people are taking really large formats and setting both the width and height to custom numbers.
A developer suggested that the GeForce 7800 cannot handle an image bigger than 4096x4096. Try lowering to 4096x3750
As regards to the GeForce 7800, I have that card and before that new viewer 1.21.6, I was able to always set a custom high rez setting of 5000 x 3750, and never had any problem with the earlier viewers. I take pics all the time, and have for the last couple of years using that card. I resolved my problem above by going back to using the older viewer 1.20.17 which had never given me any of those problems and doesn't now, so I get the feeling the GeForce 7800 is not the problem. Too many people suddenly had this problem, and a number of other problems in taking pics, after installing 1.21.6.
I agree Hitomi, this has nothing to do with your graphic card.
I get this screen when taking high resolution snapshots with water and glow. My screen is divided in 9 frames. With strong light I sometimes see 9 spots in the image. I was waiting for a new update, because I really am getting frustrated by this. Never had that issue before, only with the latest update. I deleted all SL programs and installed again, but unfortunately it did not help. Is this still a problem you are experiencing using the latest Release Candidate?
I continue to experience the same problem with the latest Release Candidate as well as while using any of the last iterations of the latest, approved viewer.
Anything but low-resolution photos break into the 9-grid when saved to disk. I have stopped using any new SL viewer and have resorted to using a much-older viewer. I no longer have this problem using 1.22.11 and a nVidia GeForce 7800.

Is anyone still able to reproduce this and if so, can you please provide reproducible steps?
I have the same problem and have in SEVERAL viewers now.
ANY high res snapshot I take, in any form, that contains either glowing objects or water reflections... come up with the layered grid effects.
