Using ctrl-alt-arrow key combinations to control the camera fails due to being trapped by some window managers on Linux.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use any Linux distribution. Use Gnome, using the default Metacity window manager.
2. Start Second Life v1.21 or lower.
3. Attempt to orbit the camera using alt-ctrl-arrow
4. You should now be looking at another virtual desktop within Gnome. Second Life is unaware a key has been pressed.
Proposed fix:
Avoid any key combination involving alt, ctrl, and an arrow key. Shift+alt+ctrl+arrow is commonly used to move windows.
Is there any way you can change the Metacity shortcut?
