To reproduce:
- Create a new notecard in inventory
- Go to land where you can build, for example Sandbox Island
- Rez a new cube
- Edit it and open the content tab in the build window
- Drag the notecard to the cube's content 5 times (as this issue is timing related you might need more copies on a faster machine). The notes should be called "New Note" "New Note 1" "New Note 2" "New Note 3" etc. now
- Rightclick "New Note" and select rename
- The next steps have to be done quickly:
- enter a new name (for example "xxx") and press Return to confirm
- Rightclick one of the other notecards. A strange context menu with lots of commands appears. Sometims Second Life crashes just now. If not:
- Select "More" in the context menu.
- Select "Start Conference Chat" in the submenu.
Instead of starting a conference chat with the notecard, watch Second Life crash reproducibly. You should have about 5 crash reports from the crash reporter for this crash now.
Workaround: Wait for a few seconds after renaming an object's inventory item. This is annoying if you have lots of notecards in an object and have to rename all of them... (It did work well in the 1.20 release).
