This bug happens randomly. It seems to occur after I have been on SL for a while. The viewer will begin to freeze up before it happens. Once I crash, and get the "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" message, it then happens repeatedly until I just say forget it and log for the night. It can happen in a completely packed sim, or when I am the only avatar in a sim. Low graphics or high graphics, doesn't matter. Began with latest viewer update. I have all of the lastest drivers for all software on my computer (including graphics)

Rhi, the main issue for this is VWR-6733 : there are many suggestions that might help.

Please check for any overheating on your computer and that you have the correct power supply for your graphics card.

Nvidia have a system monitor which is great for checking the temperature of your graphics card. http://www.nvidia.com/object/system_monitor.html

Please try the latest RC 1.21.5 which can be downloaded from here
