When taking a snapshot where the custom size exceeds the screen's resolution in either width or height, the glow is offset in the resulting picture. Now, the obvious fix to this is, don't take a snapshot that has a dimension which exceeds your screensize. However, I figured this would be worth JIRAing, in case it were related to a larger problem, especially considering the fact that the rest of the snapshot looks perfectly normal. I've included graduated snapshots that I took at various resolutions. My screen is 1920x1200, and the default screen size that the snapshot tool wanted to use was 1920x1150. You can see from the screenshots the effect of increasing dimentions. I started out below the limit, to make sure that it wasn't offset in the opposite direction.
Resolutions were as follows:
990x990
1024x1024
1150x1150
1200x1200
1280x1280

a) when you take these screenshots, do you have the option "Show interface in Snapshot" enabled?
b) from your pictures, it looks like the offset only occurs starting at a resolution of 1200x1200 and then again at 1280x1280 . These are the resolutions that exceed your actual screen size. Is this interpretation of your report correct?
