I am the owner of TIM DVD and Video products...we have seen this issue often...most especially since the last major server update happened..but it was happening occasionally prior to that...it seems to ONLY happen on island estates...and is normally fixed by a region restart.
We have more an more been running into this...and when we are there, the resident...that is either a group member or resident on that parcel, can often see the group name, on items he or she has in edit mode, but no one else can...I have personally stood on a parcel where this is happening, and not been able to see a group that anything was deeded to..or even set to...it just says "Loading..." on anything on that entire sim. The only fix we have found for it...is not really a fix at all...but a work around...restart the region... Historically, my support personnel and myself always use the most current general release viewer...we do NOT use the release candidate when providing support to customers...I can only assume this is a memory leak in the server software used on island estates, because it does not happen all the time...and it seems that there is no link to how long the sim has been running... It appears that since i got the new upgrade today our media player wont work as our *group* says it is loading.. and never finishes loading.....
