Um...is SmartHeap in 1.21 at all? I've seen zero SmartHeap failures at 1.21 level. I have to question keeping ~~VWR-3943~~ as "the main issue" if the symptom the end-user will see has shifted.

Going to 1.21 will certainly solve the error messages....

But if you still run out of memory on 1.21 (you'll just crash...have to watch the SL viewer memory consumption externally) you may want to join the party at VWR-8841. Or ~~VWR-3943~~. I don't care what number it is, it just needs fixin' sumpthin' awful.
